I am grateful for who I've been
I am grateful for who I am now
I am grateful for who I'm becoming
Grateful Greetings to you! Let the season of crazy stress begin!!! Wait... Does that have to be how it goes down for you this year? How do YOU want to wake up on January 1st, 2018? Achy, headache, congested, fever, bloated, cranky, overspent? If that's where you want to be, on Pain Island, then good luck because this post is not for you.
Who is this post for? If you want to greet the New Year feeling refreshed, well-rested, energetic, clear headed, joyful and curious about the year ahead, hop on my boat, your Paradise Island is on the horizon. I want to guide you to enjoy the holiday season with an easeful, rather than stressful perspective. What does that mean? Is that even possible?
Why do I care? It's in my nature. I am an inspirational change maker. I help people release feelings of being overwhelmed, experiencing fatigue and having doubt. This may show up as aches, pains, disturbed sleep, digestive issues, anxiety, depression, autoimmune disorders and more. With my support people experience clarity, energy and confidence, enabling themselves to greet each day feeling well-rested, energetic, clear headed, joyful and curious about every day ahead.
How do I do this? I guide groups of people through my specialized program, S.E.E. Your Wellbeing. S.E.E. stands for Sense, Engage, and Express. The name was inspired by my grandmother. Her gift was teaching blind children to navigate a world without sight. My gift is teaching people to enhance their wellbeing and live a more sensational, engaged, expressive life.
I teach people to S.E.E. what is all around them in every moment. This happens by making conscious changes in daily habits like when you eat dinner, when you go to bed, how you start your day, how you move your body, and more. With these daily habits, you will greet each day feeling refreshed, well-rested, energetic, clear headed, joyful and curious about each and every day ahead.
I know I've got you interested now! Before you jump on board I want to tell you a little more about me, the personal stuff, not the degrees, years of experience or testimonials, not yet. I want you to know that I'm not simply preaching the power of healthy habits. I practice, not perfect, these habits everyday and here's why: I have been someone who was on Pain Island, stuck in the mud of daily fatigue, surrounded by Hurricane overwhelm and fear for years. I felt stranded, with no way to escape.
Near the end of 2016, I woke up, literally sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I decided it was time to pull myself out of the mud, to step out of the hurricanes and start to live a life of purpose. And that purpose is to be sensational, engaged and expressive every day and to inspire others to do the same. My purpose and skills are supported by many years as a researcher in weight management, as a yoga and group exercise instructor and as a habit change coach.
In the spirit of the holidays, I'll be gifting you many FREE opportunities to help you wake up on January 1st, 2018 with clarity, energy and confidence and S.E.E. Your Wellbeing every day!
The first gift is a simple one but one that might feel a little uncomfortable accept without return. That gift is a gratitude practice. I invite you to make a moment at the start and end of each day to S.E.E. your gratitude. This is not your typical 3 things I am grateful for list. I am inviting you to begin and end each day expressing gratitude for yourself, for who you've been, who you are now and who you are becoming. We often think gratitude is something to project outside of ourselves. But genuine gratitude must begin with yourself first. From here, the interactions you have and the efforts you make in the world will be more authentic, impactful and lasting. Please accept this gift and post a comment about your gratitude practice.
I'll share my reflection:
I am grateful for those years on Pain Island because they allowed me to S.E.E. that is not the way I want to feel. I am grateful for where I am right now. Every moment is an opportunity to make a choice and I choose ease. I am grateful for who I am becoming and hopeful that I can support you in who you are becoming.
I am grateful for who I've been
I am grateful for who I am now
I am grateful for who I'm becoming
I am also grateful for you.
